Patient Experiences
I had taken antibiotics to treat my diverticulitis. A few weeks later I was having diarrhea and thought it was another bout. I gave a stool sample and was diagnosed with C. Diff, which I had never heard of. They gave me another antibiotic to treat this, which set off 8 months of 7 recurrent infections. I took Immunimed's oral antibody treatment and finally got better. It was simple to take and no side effects. If I'd known then what I know now about C. Diff and MEGGA MIX had been available, I would have taken it for sure.
I was given the antibiotic Amoxicillin/clavulanic Acid after laser prostate surgery in 2022. The pharmacist did note that C. Difficile could be a rare complication. Within days of completing the antibiotics, I developed severe cramping & diarrhea. I was now given another set of antibiotics to treat C. Diff.
